Trip Planning-AULI Vs Srinagar and HOUSEBOATs

Guys, i have a choice to make here, i can either go to AULI( Cheifly becoz of Snow and Views) and Srinagar-Gulmarg-Phalgam. for 6N and 7 Days.

I am planning the tour from 28 Nov to Dec 6th. Can you please please advise which is better place, i am taking my wife along with me.

Does Srinagar close down due to snow at this time.

Is there a chance of snow in auli this time of the year.

Also, can anybody suggest the Houseboats at Nagin lake i know there are quite number of posts with that but i have seen no clear winner among them,hence i present three choices here can u please rate it keeping in mind the following considerations.

Kindly rate it on
1st good service
2nd authentic kashmiri food
3rd safety.

i think quality some times do come with a price tag

There are reviews all over web about these HouseBoats but i sincerly dont want to take it unless its on INDIAMIKE where responsible people give responsible answers.

I hope this thread will also help many people plan their trip if they have a choice to make here.

i will be in kashmir from 3rd oct to 13 th oct, i am lso doing lot of search on the net and on this forum, i will inform you about my trip after my return and will definately tell you about the choice of house boat on nagin lake,

but i doubt if there will be lot of snow in auli in nov, but please confirm....

I don;t think you'll get to see snow in auli but the views might be good.
