| Train from Jammu to Srinagar I'm afraid, a train journey from Jammu to Srinagar is well into the future, even a few years away ! Presently, the train from Jammu goes upto Udhampur and no further. I understand the route from Udhampur to Srinagar is a geological challenge, esp. around the Banihal pass area. I understand numerous tunnels have to be blasted through and many bridges built before the dream of connecting Delhi to Srinagar by railway comes to fruition ! Please update with any new developments I am not aware of. |
