Srinagar blast

Just for information, afer a relative long period without bombings. Wanted to go there at the beginning of june. Now i am really confused because i mostly read that the situation there is relatively safe ![]() |

srinagar is reasonably safe as number of domestic tourist visiting the state is on the rise. U don’t have blast like this everyday. However potential of violence is always there but certainly its not as bad as Baghdad.

Not as bad as Baghdad.
As recommendations go, that one would certainly not get me booking a ticket!

You don't have to worry - its quite safe. You will find a lot of Indian and foreign tourists.
I stay in Mumbai. Last year I had been to Kasmir - at that time it was comparatively volatile. So I was little scared. But my experience there was fantastic. |

Yeah, you dont have to worry about that. I went there about 2 months ago, yet nothing happened to me. Of course you can see some soldiers walking around here and there, but that's for your safety as well. They are such friendly people i'd say.
