Shared Taxi from Jammu to Srinagar and Srinagar to Leh

Hallo,
I will be visiting Srinagar and Leh in 1st week of October with my family, will arrive Jammu in early morning by U/Sankranti Exp. Is shared Taxi/Sumo for Srinagar available from Jammu Railway station?
How does this cost for each? Otherwise how much for the entire cab?
Similar question for Srinagar to Leh.

yes shared taxis are available cost varies from 400-550 pax from jammu to srinagar and its 1500 pax from srinagar to leh

Thank you Sunnykashmir for quick reply.I have gone through the vast information about Kashmir you have given in other threads also. Another question please. Are the shared taxis available at the Jammu railway station? Or I will have to find it at Bus station?
Where at Srinagar I will find the same?

yes in jammu you can get shared taxis from jammu railway station and from srinagar to leh from tourist reception centre

Thanks. In my journey from Srinagar to Leh I decided to take night halt at 1) Sonmarg and 2) Lamayru avoiding Kargil. But heard that taxis from Srinagar never make night halt beyond Kargil. Is it true? In that case my second thought is
1) Srinagar to Sonmarg by bus, night halt.
2) Sonmarg to Kargil by bus/shared taxi. Sonmarg to Kargil- seat in bus available? Or all buses originate from Srinagar?
3) Kargil to Lamayru by bus/taxi, night halt.
4) Lamayru to Leh by bus/taxi.
Is this planning feasible?
