Please Help for make a budget tour...
Hi, This is Vivek.
I am planning to visit srinagar with my wife & two year old daughter on 29th September. As per many fourm posts i plan a trip like.... 29th SEP: After arrival in noon we will enjoy shikara ride(if time left). 30th SEP: Will Visit Local sights. 1st OCT: Will visit Sonamarg & Zojila Pass & Back to Srinagar. 2nd OCT: Will Visit Gulmarg & back to Srinagar. 3rd OCT: Full Day rest & explore local Srinagar. 4th OCT: In Morning hire a shared Taxi For Jammu Railway Station. I am not going to booking this package from any travel agent bcoz i think i can found bargain rates at that time. So i request to Senior Members & Srinagar visiters please guide me for Good & Economical Hotels, House boats at best view location in Srinagar. Also tell me the personal Taxi prices for Local sights, Gulmarg & Sonmarg. Kind regards |

budget tour
For the local sight seeing,( Mughalgardens) +- 900rp,
for Gulmarg (it depends on the car) +- 1600 rp, Sonmarg +-2400 rp don't forget the tip for the driver. If you are interessted I can recommend you a taxi driver I know,for the houseboat also, I can recommed one where I stayed several times. |

Looks like a good itinerary where you can see a lot of what each place offers.
Lots of options for houseboats & guesthouses besides hotels in Srinagar & should be good prices that time of year. |

Could anybody tell me exactly that is it possible to make a day trip srinagar-sonmarg-zojila pass-srinagar??? if yes then please guide me.... reagrds |
