My Ladakh Itinerary- Expert Comments Requested

Hi All,

I have finally prepared my itinerary to Ladakh and request all you experts to comment or suggest any change in plans for a successful trip.

Day 1- Acclimatization and rest

Day 2- Leh- Leh Palace- Thiksey Village- Thiksey Monastery- Shey Palace and Gompa- Hemis Monastery- Sindhu Ghat- Leh

Day 3- Leh- Magnetic Hill- Gurudwara Patthar Sahib- Confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers- Alchi Monastery- Hall of Fame- Leh

Day 4- Leh- Kardong La- Khardong Village- Khalsar (shyok Valley)- Tegar- Panamik Hot Springs- Overnight stay at Nubra

Day 5- Nubra- White Sand Dunes (Hunder)- Hunder Monastery- Diksit Monastery- Samstaling Monastery- Overnight stay at Nubra

Day 6- Nubra- Leh

Day 7- Leh- Pangong Lake –Leh

Day 8- Leh – Airport

This is my first trip to India. After a few days in Delhi, I'll be in the Ladakh area from July 20th -26th...I'm hoping to visit a few of the places you have listed.

Sounds great!!! My 15 year old son was there for a month and misses the Tibetan-influenced cuisine a lot.
