Most houseboats on the Dal are situated in long straggling rows;

the houseboat in Dal lake are situated in long row, it means one after another,and filled with hawker in shikara it true

is nagine lake is too far from main town around 10 km
i like to book houseboat for my family in Srinagar but not in Dal lake because these houseboat are in row one after another
please recommend some good houseboat in river side

hi dear pulala, yeah its true that there are houseboats in row, but you can find houseboat in open. there are many houseboats which are not in any row, just separate.
as for nagin yeh thats far from the main town....

Dear The Dawn group of houseboats are in the most wast part of Dal Lake and I personaaly feel the best Location.

nagin lake is good choice for you, house boats are with big room and in peace full location there try for that.

Last week I logged into trakkingthai.com, there were another 2 Thai people who will go to Kashmir this April. But it seemed they stay with chicago houseboat.

As for Dawn Group of Houseboats, I e-mail them 2 days ago but they not yet respond.

i am coming in the mid of april and i had booked the houseboat with the shelter group of houseboat very affordable price for me and my friends,
i think you should also contact them
and the entrace fee for mughal gardens given by the houseboats owner
mughal garden Rs 10 and Tulip Garden rs50
