kashmir, zanskar, ladakh - please help in the general itinerary

Hello all
I am planning a trip to Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh, this year about June 15. I am planning to spend there a month or a bit more.
My plan is to go by plane from Delhi to Srinigar. Visit all around Srinigar. Then go to Zanskar (a trek there probably, possibly with a guide). And after that go to Leh: visit all around Leh and maybe do a trek there too.
Can anybody help me in creating a general itinerary (does not have to be detailed)? Just to give a list of must see places.
Is it safe for a lonely western woman to travel in these places?
Is it better to go to Zanskar from Srinigar or from Sonmarg (is there any bus from Sonmarg to Padum)?
Will be very grateful for your help.
I was talking with one travel agency from there, but they demanded about 6000 dollars (!!!) for one month.

you can keep 2-3 days for srinagar visiting pahalgam/gulmarg/local srinagar
from srinagar you can go to kargil by shared taxi it takes about 7 hrs, stay the night at kargil, from kargil you can get a local guide and local bus for padum zanskar
you can visit zanskar for one week than head for leh, on your way to leh from kargil you can see Mulbeck/Bodh Kharbu/Khalsi/Likker Monastry/Lama yuru Monastry/Alchi Monastry/Magnetic hill which all come enroute. Its very safe for women in kashmir and Ladakh so feel free and enjoy yourself

I did this travel last year, but to be honest i didnt feel save in Srinagar, although Gulmarg is very nice. 6000USD thats a joke. Be careful in Srinagar with your money. You can then take a taxi or luxury bus to kargil and with one overnight there to Leh. Good but hard trip, i decided to go back per flight to Delhi although it was expensive in August. For women Kashmir is much more difficult than Leh, Leh is very nice and perfect. I just think to go there maybe also this summer.
