Kashmir Trip

I'm going to kashmir , starting from Kolkata on 30th October with my father(at about 60) and mother(about 54) (but still energetic). First we will be reaching Jammu. After that we have train to kolkata on 9th November. What should be our tour plan?? At that time hotels are available? If advance booking is required, what would be those hotels?? Please need much help. Thanks in advance.

Your quarries are very generalized. I suggest you go to Forums and click Jammu & kashmir from the drop down Menu. You will then get access to huge amount of data/information/travel plans/travelogues etc. pertaining to Jammu & Kashmir travel. Go through these Posts minutely, and I'm sure all your quarries will be fully answered once you go though all the Posts in that Forum.

I'm going during Sept., whereas you are going during Oct. Thus, there seems to be no chance of meeting each other at Kashmir. However, you will get lot of latest input when I come back and post my TR.
