I am planning for a Kashmir trip in Mid June as per the foolowing schedule

Day1--- Chakkibank (Himgiri Exp) to Patnotop by car. Can anybody tell app. time required for the journey?
Day2--- Patnitop to Srinagar.
Day3--- Srinagar to Sonmarg & back
Day4---- Srinagar to Jushmarg or Uler lake & back
Day5---- Srinagar to Gulmarg (Gandola ride etc)
Day6---- Gulmarg to Pahelgaon
Day7---- Pahelgaon
Day8----- Pahelgaon to Udhampur to catch train.

I have some basic questions as follows:-
Q1> Between Mid June & Mid October which is the better time to visit Kashmir as far as Snow & FLOWER view is concerned?

q2> Any suggestion about House boat stay at Srinagar for three days we will stay there-- We will be a 8 adult (among them 4 are senior citizen catagory) plus one child (10 years) plus one baby (14 months)team.

Q3> Is the tour plan as per the age of the members is ok?

Q4> Any suggestion about any better place/option on day3 & Day4

Q4> Idea about some good hotels/House boat with homely atmosphere ( as Old & kids are in the team)

THANKS IN ADVANCE

June is a pretty good time to travel,it isnt that cold, there is decent amount of snow too and you'll get to see flowers.
You can skip Patnitop to reduce the number of destinations and spend more time around Dal lake and in Srinagar in general.

Thanks ashwinnaagar for your feedback.
One night stay at Patnitop is only because before we will be traveling more than 30 hrs in Himgiri Exp. So on that that we can't proceed to Srinagar. Either we wiil have to stay at Jammu (in that case we will get down from train at Jammu) or stay at Patnitop (which in my view a better place than Jammu to stay)
Any idea about chance of rainfall in June?
