Kashmir in late November

I have planned this kashmir trip in late october but as tickets are now not available as such, I have to postponed it to late november( 27th 2nd December). how is this period in kashmir, I will like to travel to pehalgam/gulmerg/sonmerg. can sonmerg is accessible during this period. can we see and play with snow during this period in sonmerg/gulmerg. whether heavy woolends are required for this visit. I will stay at pehalgam for 1 night. can anybody give names of hotels which remain open during this period and how will are the charges for these hotels.

My revised tour plan is as under :-

24.11.2012 :reach sringar and directly transfer to gulmerg and stay overnight there. we will reach there around 01.30 PM and are expected to reach gulmerg at around 5 PM. if time permits, we can visit local market/shive mandir etc.

25.11.2012: After breakfast have a ride of gondala( if we find snow there, we will skip 2nd stage). after lunch proceed to sringar and in the evening have a shikra ride.

26.11.2012: local sighting ( shalimar garden/nishant garden/chesmashahi) till afternoon and in the evening have local shopping in sringar.

27.11.2012: after b/fast move to pehalgam and in route visit fish pond( at matan) and we will try to reach pehalgam before 12 Noon. after reaching pehalgam proceed to betab valley and return from there at around 2 PM. after lunch, proceed to baisran valley and return from there in the evening. stay at hotel.

28.11.2012: after b/fast have a stroll of lidder river/poshwan park and move to sringar. reach sringar around 12 Noon. and do local sightseeing( left out) i.e. shankarcharya temple/hazartbal/parimalah/nehru park/botentical garden.

29.11.2012: we have flight at around 2 PM.

I will request the IMs to have their views on this tour. as we have about 3-4 hours on the last day, what we can do in this time. can we cover our tour of pehalgam as per my schedule.

we are staying at houseboat for 2 nights/1 day at gulmerg( hotel royal park) and 1 night at pehalgam( hotel paradise inn/baisran hotel). whether any IM have stayed at these hotels.

Okay, Shiv mandir is easily accessible so you can visit the same on same day.
