Kashmir In December 1st week

can any one please advice how will be the climate in jammu and srinagar in december 1st week?

I am visiting kashimir alone.
Can I get a domitory in jammu,srinagar,Phalgham and gulmarg?

Can I take bike from jammu on rent visit srinagar,Phalgham and gulmarg? Will it be suitable to visit on bike?

Cant say about dormitories but you'll get cheap rooms in srinagar and pahalgam, not in gulmarg or sonamarg.

I think it would be a better idea to get a bike in srinagar rather than in jammu.

im also planning to visit JNK in first week of December. is it the best time to visit.
after going thru this forum, I know this topic is oft discussed. Im lil worried abt 6th Dec and safety stuff. dont be harsh if im unreasonably worried.

I feel spring or summer or autumn is the best time to visit j&k though kashmir is always beautiful you would be missing the greenery and wild flowers in december. And there is nothing to worry about other than the occasional strikes.
