I will ARRIVE AT JAMMU STATION 2.45pm on 21 july with my family (4 persons)and depart form jammu on 27 july 11.55am

1.how can i travel to katra for vaishnodevi`s` darshan form jammu rly station is there busses available after my arrival at jammu if then how much is the charge for each person,if sharred taxi is available then how much is the charge

2.cheap hotels in katra my pocket allows me 700 to 1200 rs /per night(some frds say its cheap in july bcuz of less rush)

3.after mata rani`s darshan which is good to travel i only heard of patnitop(sightseeing) & gulmarg(because of skiing& and has snoww )

4.how to travel to patnitop again bus or taxi or sharred taxi availablity and charges and hotels in patnitop again 500 to 1000rs/per night for 4 people

i don`t know where to visit the rest dayz my half plan is this

22 rest after mata`s darshan and market visit
23 early morning departure for patnitop
24 ?
25 ?
26 ?
27 early morning train to mumbai 11.55am

The bus and taxi stand is located just opposite to the Jammu Tawi Railway station. The bus charges Rs 54 per passenger for Katra. Taxi would be charging around Rs 100/- per passenger
Yes you get it within your budget.
If you have more time, you may plan your visit towards valley!

You would be able to be back to Katra after darshan on 23rd, then you would need some rest.

You need to reach Jammu Tawi railway station by 9.30 AM on 27th.

Post-edit: You may plan going towards Dalhousie and catching your train either from Pathankot or Chakki Bank (wherever the train has stoppage)!

4. would i get a good cheap ok ok type hotel in patnitop within my range 500-1000 for 4 person

i plan this way till now sir
21st 2.30pm arrival to jammu tawi from mumbai swaraj express
after having lunch in jammu`s hotel we will leave for katra till 3.45(which will take 90 odd mins)
then book a hotel and rest till night and at night start walking up

22nd early morning we get down back to katra then rest the whole day
23rd we travel to patnitop through shiv khori(i dont know about this place is it on the way to patnitop, is it good to visit)

chakki bank is a stoppage dalhousie to chakki bank traveling information plz sir bus,train,taxi,sharred taxi.and hotel rates in dalhousie and chakki bank(because i need to catch train form chakki bank in morning

i can skip night stay at patnitop and go futher north to srinagar,sonmarg,gulmarg or even kashmir valley which you refferd

can i find snow in gulmarg i heard winter games in there it not then is it a good place to visit in july or should i go to sonmarg and kashmir valley

@kshitij gupta, you would require around two and a half hours from Jammu to Katra + around six to eight hours from Katra to Bhawan. You should take your lunch at Katra to save time. If not possible, then you may take lunch at Jammu railway station just opposite to Taxi/Bus stand.

Then you would take around two hours for darshan. It would take around two hours if going to Bhairojee. From there back to Katra in around 4 to 6 hours. In between you would require some rest also.

Further, IMO, you would require a map in front of you before planning a tour.

I was suggesting you to move towards Dalhousie in stead of Valley (Kashmir Valley). That could materialize in whatever time you have in your hand. It would be easier on you.

If you wish to go to Srinagar, you would require to come back to Jammu and then take bus to Srinagar. It would take whole day to reach there.

Trip to either Gulmarg or Sonmarg would take one day each. this would become too rushy in available time.

You won't be able to go towards Dalhousie, if going towards Srinagar!

Don't want to be rude but you have no idea what you are planning.
You are right till Katra but you have confused Kashmir. There is no way you can see sringar,gulmarg and sonmarg same day. Srinagar(SXR) is centrally located and songmarg is 100km from SXR while Gulmarg is 50km.
If you think about winter games in summer you have clearly confused your general knowledge about the weather. you won't be able to ski in june.july. Yes you might be able to see snow at top reaches in Gulmarg by taking Gondola or Thajwas Glacier in sonmarg.
Let me help you with your itenary
After your holy visit decide kashmir or patnitop. YOu can't go to kashmir and then come back to Patnitop and then go to Gulmarg. Patnitop comes first then you travel 200kms and you reach srinagar and from srinagar you can visit GUlmarg/sonmarg or pahalgam. If i were you and had a chance to go to kashmir i would surely skip Patnitop. Its for those people who don't have time to kashmir. Plus you will pass through patnitop if you have to go to kashmir so you will see the place as well. Go to SXR instead and from there spend a day in Gulmarg (Rs 60 from SXR per person in a taxi) and go for gondola ( Rs 300 - worth every penny) and then come back to srinagar (Rs 60 again) in the evening. GUlmarg can be a day trip. Next morning leave for sonmarg and spend a day there. Come back in the evening. If you got more days to spare go to Pahalgam. Its heaven and having a chance to dip in ice cold water would be an experience of its own.

Spend some time in SXR swell. Some nice places to see and then head home.

then return 6-7 hours

23 early morning departure for patintop overnight stay

24 morinig depature for srinagar will visit srinagar whole day

25 srinagar to gulmarg till evening and get back to srinagar

26 srinagar to jammu and visiting jammu

27 morning train

good and cheap hotel in katra(below 1000)my friend visited katra in march he booked hotel over there for 650/per day and the room looked pretty good in his pictures(but he dose`nt remember hotel name)
july month is the cheapest month to visit katra according to wiki and some other sites
so can some one suggest me some good hotel in my range

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board rooms offer 4 beded rooms for 550rs/per day but i dont know the condition of that room and that too is for a day

There are plenty of hotels available at Katra in your range and a lot of these hotels' representatives would meet you as soon as you arrive at bus stand.

Regarding Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board rooms, those are worth their price and very good in condition. We always prefer to stay there. We go for any other arrangements only if there is no room available.
