Independence day in Leh anyone?
Hi people,
Me and four friends of mine will be going to Leh next saturday (12/08/06). We will be catching a bus from Delhi and making the long journey up the hills. Anybody planning to be in Leh at the same time? |

I'm planning on being there during Independence day, which also happens to be my birthday. I will be traveling there from Manali. When I go is dependent on whether the road is open (no mudslides), which has been sporadic lately.

oh I didn't know about the landslides. Hope it doesn't play the spoilsport. I'm assuming the bus driver would have info. on this in Manali?
