Great

Very pleased to read the news of snowing as it will make my tour to srinagar in mid-june more interesting .now only i have to jsut make sure the conditions(terroist activities) are ok for me to visit

Never knew that it snows during this time of the year in these places..i thought it always starts in Nov-Dec.

I'm not at all surprised to learn of snow in those places - it was quite cold here in Srinagar and the rain was relentless! Glad my sons' school picnic in Pahalgam was scheduled the day before that storm.

It's a beautiful sunny day today in Srinagar; hopefully the beginning of the weather turning for the summer!

It's raining again this evening in Srinagar and is pretty chilly. So there could be another round of snowfall up in the higher elevations

Well, it's raining again tonight, been raining off and on the past 2 days. I'm pretty sick of it and the chilly weather in general. Thought I could put my pheran away by JUNE, at least!

Sunny, do you know if the Srinagar-Leh road is open with all of this weather? Hubby's due to leave early in the morning for Leh and has had to postpone the trip twice now because of road closures. I don't know if it was snow or mudslides or what.
