Question Camp-sites enroute Khardung Ls from Chandigarh

I am planning to do a trip from Delhi to Khardung la via Manali and on the way back go to Tso Moriri. This should happen some time mid July. Wonmdering if any one knows of good camping grounds on the way where i can pitch a tent and stay the night.

How are the roads from Upshi to Tso Moriri?

Please advice on AMS too.

Thank you guys

Hi!

Are you planning to cook on your own or are you looking for 'tent restaurants' - where you can get food and a place to lie down under a parachute tent?

Try to read up some travelogues - a good one is lovemax

Personally I wouldn’t recommend pitching up tents on the Manali - Leh highway, unless it is in Jispa or someplace before it.

As for Tso Moriri, you can pitch up your own tents right next to the village of Korzok (right next to the place where tent accommodation is available).

High velocity cold winds, lack of water, high altitude to name a few.
