Bus timing from jammu to srinagar

I can second that, even in Punjab, they are better then best.

I tried to call J&K TDC/SRTC number and found current numbers in working conditions.

The J&K Tourism Development Corporation (J&K TDC)and the J&K State Road Transport Corporation (J&K SRTC) operate luxury coaches. For reservation and bookings, contact the J&K TDC/SRTC offices at:

a. Tourist Reception Centre: SRTC Tel: 2576562 J&K TDC Tel: 2579554; Fax: 2546412, 2549065.
b. Railway Station, Jammu: SRTC - PP: 2476078 J&K TDC - PP. 2476078.

Thanks for sharing very useful information. This will be quite helpful for the future tourists like me for planning our trip.
However, apart from telephone number, you must have gathered a few other related information like:

1. Do they run luxury buses between (a) Jammu and Srinagar and (b) Jammu and Pahelgam?
2. If so, what are the timings of these buses? When does the first bus in these two route starts from Jammu?
3. What are the fares for these two routes?
4. Can we book bus tickets in advance (if yest, by what process) or on line booking is available or not.

Shall be grateful if you help us by providing the above information (as many as possible). Thanks.

I am visiting Srinagar from Jammu on 29-June, I confirm that there are buses between Srinagar from Jammu from railway station and bus stand between 4:30 am to 7 am. Fare is Rs. 360 for normal bus and Rs. 380 2x2 coach from railway station and Rs. 450 from Bus stand in Jammu.

I will check for Pahelgam.
