Budget Accommodation in Srinagar

I am new to this forum. Can anyone introduce some budget type accomodation (including houseboats) in Srinagar? I will be glad if you could give the contact contails to me. Thanks for your help

There are a lot of budget hotels to choose from and they are of different price ranges.

the site mentioned gives a (biased?) geo-political view of the place but hardly justifies its title (budget hotels)

The houseboats are not at all cheap. If you start bargaining, you may get a cheaper houseboat, but the boat is gonna creak at every step you take. I had that experience. People going to srinagar does not have to look any thing at the websites and search engines. The moment you are near the Dal Lake touts are going to surround you from all directions. Be it morning, daytime, evening or night. We reached Srinagar at 11.30 at night and at that time also these touts came out from nowhere. They start chasing you with scooters. You might get budget hotels though.
