Air travel to/from Srinagar in mid-March?

How is weather for air travel to/from Srinagar during mid-March? In particular, are flights, especially cheap ones like Deccan, likely to be delayed or canceled (the way it happens in Delhi in December-January)?

Mid March should be ok. Winter is on its way out in Delhi. Right now there is very shallow fog/mist in the morning & air traffic is normal.
Last time I went to Kashmir I found that cabin baggages were not allowed in the plane. Might have changed now. Start early for your return flight as the security drill at Srinagar airport takes a lot of time.

I was worrying about Srinagar airport in March, not Delhi...

Sorry apt... mid March is fair weather in Srinagar. Budget airlines with limited aircrafts do occasionally slip up on punctuality. I have used Deccan half a dozen time, except on one occasion there was no delay. Good luck.
