Which Hotel In Jaipur.
Namaste,
I am undecided which hotel to stay in when I visit Jaipur Dec 09 and would like recent updates for the following hotels: Pearl Palace. There seems to be a lot of good response from what I have read so far? Umaid Bhawan. It looks fantastic - very Rajasthani - is it as good as it looks? Umaid Mahal. Also looks fantastic too - much the same question as above? My final question relates to booking my accomodation: Which is easiest and most reliable? |

Pearl Palace ticked all my boxes!
Very reasonable prices, friendly staff and lovely rooftop restaurant. Mr Singh goes out of his way to make sure that you enjoy your stay. I suppose it depends on your budget. Have a great time in Jaipur. Laney ![]()

Just to throw one more hotel into the mix, have you looked at Alsisar Haveli?
http://www.indiamike.com/india-hotel...-jaipur-h3512/ You don't say what price range - if I knew (or checked!) the hotels you asked about, I'd know... In any case, we found the location, atmosphere, service etc at Alsisar to be very good. We looked at many available rooms before choosing ours - each room was decorated differently some with lovely wall painting and terraces or patios. There are also some interesting public rooms in this haveli and a swimming pool. The morning call to prayer did wake us up early, but one gets used to that. distaff half of hfot2 |

Have stayed at Hotel Diggi Palace on a previous trip (www.hoteldiggipalace.com/) The rates were very reasonable, service great and friendly. Highly recommended. Will surely stay there again when we are in Jaipur.

Hi Mrblueshorts - those 3 hotels were also on our list of choices for our trip to Jaipur coming up in November. We ended up ruling out Pearl Palace because our train comes in at midnight and they would not hold the room for us. The words "heritage castle" ended up being the deciding factor for my travel mates and we have booked the Umaid Mahal. Of all the hotels we booked in India this was the easiest because they actually have online booking. I too hope it lives up to the pictures!
