Saharia Organic Resort - have you been there?
Saharia Organic Resort - have you been there?
I just ran into a link to ths site of this place by accident
Saharia Organic Resort
it's in the vicinity of Jaipur, and I wonder if anyone knows anything about it or has stayed there.
I'm planning to travel with someone who is starting a farm of her own and is really interested in this kind of thing.

Hi NeeliAankhen!
I was wondering if you ever went to that resort. I saw your post and looked at the link you provided. Saharia organic resort looks like the perfect stay for our stay in Jaipur and I am thinking of going there. The only problem is HOW to go there? I suppose one can easily take a rickshaw to Saharaia, but what about the way back to Jaipur?

I haven't been there and won't get there on this trip - maybe somebody will get there someday and tell us about it though, it does sound so nice.
I got the information about this place through this thread only, and did manage to visit this place in Dec 11. Great experience it was
wow!! I'd love to hear more about your visit there!
Firstly, apologies for being away for a while.
The details are the same as in the link posted by you, the rooms, tariff and the surroundings are same as in the pics, the caretaker of the property (Mr Lalchand) was very polite and helpful. we did meet a couple of farm volunteers (foreigners) staying and working there. The swimming pool was not in use (was freezing cold), hence the water was not recycled. Sep - Nov would be the best season to visit i guess. Unable to upload the pics of the visit here as it limits size to 100kb per pic. Any more details? Let me know.

Thanks again - so nice to hear from somebody who's been there!
