RTDC Jaipur Day Tours

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will only be Jaipur for a maximum of 2 days. I read that the Tourist Board run day tours to all the main sights in a day.

Has anybody been on these tours and if so what does it consist off and would you recommend it?

Thanks in advance

Yes, we took a 1/2 day tour from the RTDC Jaipur tourist office. It was fine. Nothing fancy. We didn't do a private vehicle, we did the regular bus one they offered.

We always try to take advantage of any government tourist office & their city tours. It's a nice, inexpensive & local (not many foreign tourists on the bus!) way to get an overview of a city.

Then, you can do a bit more on your own after you get an idea of the city.

We like Jaipur and you can see quite a bit in 2 days.

day trip

Hi,I did the one day city tour in Jaipur in March.It covered all the major sites in Jaipur for 250rupees{entrance fees extra!}
There were three westerners on the coach and the rest were South India.I found it a great way to see the city and interact with locals.It was a long day but well worth it.
I would highly recommend this way of seeing Jaipur.

Happy travels,Laney
