Train 1771 departs Ranthambore daily at 23.35, gets to Fatehpur Sikri at 04:50 and Agra Fort at 06.05

This train only has Sleeper Class.

Sleeper Class details & photos.

You may prefer to board the train at the larger Sawai Madhopur station where the train departs at 23:25.

This is helpful to me also. Thanks. Can I ask Steven whether you would recommend Sleeper Class for travel with 2 kids aged 10 and 5. They are good kids generally, not used to luxury and not whingey types either. What say you?

Kids would love Sleeper Class, kids don't have the fears and worries us adults have, so they just enjoy the ride and the scenery.

However, this isn't the train for kids, it calls at 30 stations by the time it gets to Agra, so they'd need to be sound sleepers, and by the time they get to sleep, it'll be almost time to wake them up.

If you do use this train, use Sawai Madhoppur station, Ranthambore station is only a tiny station, and the train only stops for seconds, but it stays at Sawai Madhoppur for 5 minutes, all hotels and locals will assume you'll be using Sawai Madhopur station.
