looking for great restaurants in Jaipur, Delhi, Agra

I'll be with a group of approximately 15 others...all new to India besides myself and we want to eat good authentic food. Any recommendations for mid priced plus...but not too expensive.
Thanks!

Restaurants Jaipur

Some time since I went to Jaipur but I will be there in January again and we are looking forward to eating at Nero's again. The place I introduced my husband to Dosas! The Rogan Josh as I remember was somewhat fatty though. The other thing to have is Lassi at Lassiwala which is opposite Neros.

In Delhi you can't go past Nirulas for Chinese food and Karim's for Tandoori food. Sweet shops in Sundar Nagar and Gantewalas in Pharghang.

Here are some of the fine dining places in Jaipur (places we visit)

Mehfil in Bani Park - excellent Mughlai food
Four Seasons in C-Scheme - fresh vegeterian food
Dasyaprakash on MI Road- Great South Indian food
Chokhi Dhani - ethnic restaurant
Spice Court in Civil Lines - recent addition with atmosphere (would like feedback on this)
Niro's is another old favourite
Among the more expensive places, a must is a visit to the Polo bar at the Rambagh for a drink

For Delhi, you may consider picking up a copy of the Times Food guide, which is fairly complete and comprehensive.. HT has a similar guide. but the Times is more recent.

The recommendations above are good.. but we have a lot of exciting places in Delhi.. for regular Indian food.. Moti Mahal, for seeing an old style colonial restaurant with reasonable food. Gaylords in Connaught Place (I remember them having a band for afternoon tea.. at least until the mid-eighties).

Karim's is a good recommendation.. The veg. thali at Vega (Alka Hotel in Connaught Place ) is good. For south Indian food. Shravanam Bhavan at Janpath is very good.. though Sagar, which now has several outlets all across the city and some other cities in the north is quite well known.

For Kerala, Malabari cuisine.. the Sagar Chain has opened a restaurant called Swagatham in Def. Colony Market. They have good seafood there.

Some of the other interesting Indian restaurants are Copper Chimney in Greater Kailash I, Chor Bizzare at Asaf Ali Road (Kashmiri food) is also intersting.

If you can have a member invite you to India Habitat Centre.. their Rajasthani Thali at about Rs. 250 is also very good.

A visit to Haldiram, perhaps at Lajpat Nagar (ring Road) would be interesting to find all kinds of street food at a safe and reasonable comfortable environment. You would also find a very large variety of sweets. There is another larger Haldiram on the Mathura Road, about half an hour outside Delhi, may perhaps be on the way to Agra.. so depending on your schedule, you could choose one of these two.

If you are in Jaipur, a visit to Chau ki Dhani for a traditional Rajasthani dinner.. with performances by folk artists etc.. is worth a visit.

I could perhaps add a few more recommendations as I think of them.

In Agra, go to Joney's Place. Down from the South Gate of the Taj. Good clean food. Banana lassis and cold coffee are out of this world! (our first ice cream and yoghurt in India). They give their address as Kutta Park, Tajganj.
