Jaipur to Jodhpur which train seats?

We are going to take the day train to Jodhpur and were wondering what ticket class we should buy. There's no 1st class available. Even though it's not a night sleeper train would the best option be 2ac.

Totally depends on whether you want to isolate yourself with some upper class Indians in a chill box or met some of the real folk, most of whom won't have tickets and will be edging onto your seat ;-) I would recommend second ordinary, that's where the action is!! the first reference was to 2nd AC!! However it's totally your call . . . you'll miss the milkmen in AC ;-)

If it's a day train SL should be good enough.

If you want to cut out the noise, filth and people jumping all over the place, stick with 2AC. There is no "real India" to be found in second class unreserved sitting! No instant nirvana there!
No point traveling in miserable conditions and ruining your holiday.
