How much time should I allow to visit Sanganer from Jaipur? I have to leave town the same day (heading to Agra) and would like to know if this is do-able.

Hi

I'd like to visit Dera Amer and take an elephant night safari with food and entertainment on my visit to Jaipur in two weeks, I know it is quite expensive... how much do you think I could get this for per person? do you know if they are happy to barter over the price?

Sanganer are is very close to the airport and will take you about 45 minutes from the city centre to reach there. You can easily visit sanganer and hed for Agra on the same day

Budget hotels start at around Rs. 900.00 or approx. US20$. You can find decent hotels with a good spacious rooms for around 40$ on double occupancy.

I will be coming to Jaipur in March for a few days. Is there anywhere in the area that is good for seeing birds & wildlife?

I don't think times have changed that much but the last time I went to Jaipur I stayed at Karni Niwas for 600 rupees, not in their new rooms. You can certainly find budget hotels less than 900 rupees, Vishu Raina.
