Even I would like to know the rate for a single, non-AC room at Sunder Palace. How does it compare with Sneh Deep Guest House, Pearl Palace and Arya Niwas?

I've been quoted 700 IR for a double in mid December. This via online, so we will see if we can get it cheaper by just showing up.

Hi AliG1000,
I've been quoted 700 IR for 16th December. i asked if they have anything cheaper and they said they do, but it's booked up - I'm not sure if this is the truth. We are thinking of just showing up and bargaining for a price - do you think this is wise? Thanks |

Thanks very much for that info Gokarna! Good to know that the Thali is worth ordering :-)
Mari, I also sent an email to the hotel yesterday and asked about the rates for January 10th. They replied saying standard rooms for a double cost 700rp, I think 900rp for semi-delux, and 1250 for delux. 700 sounds very reasonable. Why would one need to bargain! |

For Sunder Palace, I was quoted Rs700 for deluxe double room for mid-Nov. I shall walk-in next month and see the room first before bargain for cheaper.

I am raja from Andhra. I am planning to bring a group of 40students on an educational tour to Jaipur (after Delhi trip) in the month of Jan. Could you please suggest 1. A dormitry type of rooms for the night stay 2. Tourist agency who could arrange a bus to tour Jaipur for one day. I have seen jaipur just this summer but I didn't have this plan at that time. thank you ![]() |
