I don't know now how it is, I was there in '93 (wow!
12 years passed by...) but this was one of my best and loved memory in India.Just opened at that time I think, so now should be better (and more expensive!). Ciao!

Didn't read it yet Mike! Adityabee thank you for the good memories : I was there for the New Year Celebration and they drove us (total 5 guests) to a party as you describes! |

We stayed there a few years ago.
Comfortable room and great garden with tree surrounded lawns to relax in. Breakfast on the roof terrace, and if I remember correctly, a pretty good chicken tandoori for dinner. Couldn't fault it on any aspect, and also excellent value for money.

We stayed there in October and November 2005 - an exceptional place to stay. A veritable island in a sea of chaos.
When I booked via email 2 months out they quoted a certain rate, and when we got their, even though the rates had gone up they honoured the quoted rate - they actually told us this rather than us having to find out and then pressure them. Eat, drink and relax....and indulge in a massage. Staff are friendly and obliging. Food exquisite.
