Whilst it sounds like a great idea, I would be very wary of any activity in India where, in UK, you would take for granted the health and safety controls, regulations and inspections. Those same controls will not exist in India and, even when they do, they may be subverted.
There is a certain amount of risk that one must be prepared to take in visiting a country like India, but I would not be prepared to extend that risk to putting my life on the end of some string several thousand feet up. Sorry to be the wet blanket... |

I have heard that in Luxor, Egypt also there were Balloon flights but after some accidents they stopped it.

Thanks, but I sort-of knew somebody would say that, and my reservations remain the same.

Yeah...you can't take away the fact that there is always some amount of risk involved in such activities no matter how much precautions you take & whether you do it in India or Miami....That's why these activities are known as Adventure Sports & hence not meant for everybody!!!

That is a neat way to get out of it, but it is not a valid argument.
You talk about professionalism and safety standards... according to what criteria, and how is equipment inspected, and what external checks are there? You say "India or Miami", well, I've never been to Miami, but I'd be prepared to bet that a sky sports organisation there would have inspectors crawling all over them, maybe stuff like annual licensing, with inspection required, and no, a couple of thousand rupees does not get one out of any of the obligations. This is not meant as a slur on any one company or group of people, about whom I know nothing. Just I wouldn't touch that sort of thing in India. You can see the normal safety awareness on the roads. Even press reports on Air India's safety ethos are getting worrying. |
