Heritage Hotels in Jaipur

Hi,
I am visiting India after 17 years and am looking for recommendation for Heritage Holtes in Jaipur. We are willing to spend about Rs.3500 to 4000 for a room.

Any Suggestions?
Thanks

To little for the Rambagh Palace..... too much for Narain Niwas Palace ... those are two that I can recommend though. I'm sure
another member will be along with a suggestion that fits your budget though!

Oh no...Narain Niwas Palace seems to be absolutely in their budget... as they raised up their prices.

Stayed there a few years ago and absolutely loved this place!

Just check the pictures and try to get a room on the upper floors, you won't regret it!

Oh well, look at the positive side Annett - it will keep the Riff-Raff off the premises! ....which if the rate gets any higher might include moi.

Hope you don’t include me with the Riff-Raff

I think the prices are still ok(ish)...even if I am on budget (most of the time)

I've stayed in Narain Niwas and it was pretty nice. Definitely fits the Heritage Hotel requirement, but has a slight shabby-chic thing going on.

Also check out JasVilas in the IndiaMike hotel section. I put someone here a few months ago and they raved about it highly. Not a heritage hotel, per se, but still seems to get very high reviews.

Oh all right, all right - we'll let you in - but you can't come anywhere near my suite in the upper terrace with the cool sunset view.

i recommend Meghniwas Hotel. they ask 1800 rupees for a std. room but we just showed them the LP guide which said 1200 and after a bit of navel gazing gave it to us for that. it's clean and a nice place, built in the 50s.

hey,

We stayed at Nana ki Haveli on feb .It is a nice place during the day ,but the neighboors work all night long on the warehouse (heavy trucks coming and going out).It is impossible to sleep .I complained next day,and the owners did care about it.

In this budget you can stay in following hotels, I am giving the names top to bottom as high to low budget hotels:-
1. Alsisar Hotel
2. Narayan Niwas
3. Hari Mahal
4. Loharu House - Very good hotel if you could get room)
5. Diggi Palace
6. Mandava haveli
7. Bisau Palace
All these are very good hotels. You can choose as you wish.
Best wishes.

I will suggest Jai Niwas guest house. It is a sister concern of Arya Niwas hotel. I am yet to understand how do they differentiate between a hotel and guest house.
It was very very clean (never seen such clean batchrooms and bedsheets in any Indian hotel), only 8 rooms (so enough of privacy and better service), real great food (although a bit expensive) and they help a lot in arranging sightseeing/taxis/ bus-train tickets. The room rents are just Rs. 930 per night for a double bed A/C room.
