Exercise in the Pink City?

Any chance of finding a reasonable fitness club near M.I. Road or Arya Niwas (I heard there's one in Ganpati Plaza)? How about parks with basic running space(I've run in some strange places in India/Nepal, so give me your best shot). Thanks

The one in Ganpati Plaza is good. And its AC! Very clean, free weights, running machines etc. One of the better gyms I've been to in India. 100 rs per workout (expensive but worth it)... but you pay extra if you want a shower! Of course, they do monthly rates if you want.

Parks

Theres a large park bang opposite the deer park next to cafe Kooba/Lifestyle mall. Similrly you could try the Central park.Swimming is open to guests in most hotels-for 100 bucks an hour or less. Try hari niwas palace/Jaipur club-if you know a member.

There is a path/road that leads up to Tiger Fort from the edge of the city, which makes for a pretty good workout. There was little or no motorized traffic on this little road. The view is a plus. The fort and surrounding area were not too busy when I was there and it was pretty quiet.

See attached pic.
