Direct transportation from Jaipur to Manali?
Is there any sort of direct train or bus from Jaipur to Manali? The Lonely Planet guide said there was, but I'm having trouble finding one.

Very unlikely, I don't think there would be much use for such a route.
So, overnight on a train or a bus? There's an overnight train from Jaipur to Chandigarh (3 nights per week, Tu,F & Su.) then you could get a bus from there to Manali. (check using www.erail.in ) Or a bus/train to Delhi, then an overnight bus to Manali, I’m not saying the overnight bus is uncomfortable, but rumour has it that trauma counsellors await the arrival of the bus in Manali.  |
