I stayed at Vinjack guest house in Bani park area the last two times I was in Jaipur.Five minutes walk to the station, but a good 30 minutes walk to the Pink city.It is run by a young family with help from parents ,a lovely ,clean place to stay.A single room was about 500 and a double around 1000.
A nice roof top resteraunnt which is a great place to hang out and meet other people.
The guy who runs it is called Raman and is really helpful and friendly.I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Jaipur.
Happy travels all the best Simon.
