Hi everyone,
I am an Aussie gal living and working in Delhi until July 2012. I am keen to meet new people and make new friends, especially if we can discover Delhi together. I am comfortable being by myself, but always enjoy the company of like-minded people. It would be great if you were in a similar position (ie, travelling solo) and were looking for someone who is fun and respectful to hang out with over the next few months!

You could always check what's going on at the IndiaMike New Delhi Meetups, though I think it's gone a little dead of late. You can however always call for a meeting there, and see if anyone bites.
There are expat groups in Delhi, depends if that's your kind of crowd & activities I guess. I think this one is popular: http://www.delhinetwork.net/. Check also http://www.internations.org/new-delhi-expats, and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Yuni-Net/.
On a sidenote, kindly check also this site's standing cautionary thread: Women/Men looking for travel partners.

The IM Delhi Meets doesn't happen anymore due to unknown reasons.I tried but no one responded.
Are you working with some NGO?
