FYI, Haylo, I've never asked permission either. my experience is that people love to get their pics taken, and those that don't, either turn their backs or frown and shake their heads, then I move on. no big deal to me, I respect that.

Loved your story! It is sooooo, um, Indian! Was reminded of some old Hindi movies. Also a song, that goes:

Kisi Nazar
Ko Tera
Intezaar
Aaj bhi he...

You can hear it online at Musicindia Online. I dedicate it to the two of you!

Thanks for providing the details of the camera. I've noticed friends who have Nikon's (and the same lens as you), seem to be having a greater colour saturation than my Canon.

Maybe there's something that I have to work on with my cameras settings.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Cheers
Zoltan

Thanks for sharing those great photos. Shows the regional diversity of India and some great sites.

Are you planning on putting up your videos here as well?

Even though we have been back for three months I have just recently finished looking at the video footage. Watching the footage was great.. it felt like we were still in Inida. As soon as I can I will put them up on the site.

That's for sure! That's the thing that really struck me on my first visit (and subsequently, too). Everything is just out there. I think that's a large part of why being in India is so compelling for many of us.

Nice site and wonderful photos!
