In Goa a few weeks ago, trying to stay out of the rain.
Great bikes - I had a 500cc Bullet for almost a year, but this one was just hired for a few days - felt like hanging out with an old friend.  |

delhi to leh about nov 6?
I gather regular flights Delhi to Leh stop end of Sept.
Is Nov 6 too late to travel to Leh ? ie too snowy? Will consider plane or bus or train to ?? then local transport. Advice please Kit in NZ |

This is me in the Himalayas
I take this opportunity to introduce myself and my organisation to you. I am a lecturer of Tourism Administration at the Government PG College, Kullu. The course covers a broad spectrum of ecotourism related topics. However, the area of my specialization and choosing is the study of conservation of flora and fauna in one of the most fragile eco-zones of the world called the “Great Himalayan National Park-GHNP” in the valley of Kullu.
In the light of the above, one has been working in tandem with the park officials and an NGO called SAHARA to conserve the elements of the ecosystem. These are humble steps but in the right direction despite constraints of every conceivable nature. |
