We've had that great photo thread "Where was this photo taken?" and Midnite Toker's wonderful thread "If you look like your passport photo". We also had the "this is where I work" and "this is where I live" posts.

Now is your chance to show us a picture of you, with or without your travel pals, somewhere actually in India.

I'll start with a photograph of me at the Taj. I must quickly add that I have chucked the technicolour trousers and bought myself some shoes since 1997.

Me in front of my 'trusty' (and bloody uncomfortable) camel in the Thar Desert - a great trip though. Sporting a bottle of rum provided by the tour organiser - when this ran out out we were forced to buy the home made 'rum' off the locals. *Not* nice!

just got myself a scanner, scanned some pics,but for the life of me cant work out out to get my pictures on to to this thread. Its probably simple but I am not the smartest bloke with a computer.
I am sure I have seen details of this before but cant seem to find it.

Here's a photo of me with Bunty Singh (and helpers) at his chai stall just outside the entrance to the bird reserve at Bharatpur.

As you can see it's the middle of winter and there's nothing like a thermos flask of Indian chai to see you through a long day's bird-watching! Except perhaps a half bottle of Indian rum!
