hey everyone
my husband and myself travelled all over when we were young and carefree and had a ball we then decided to settle back in the uk to start a family purchased a lovely old house spent four long years doing it up and then we were blessed with a little girl gracie who has a very rare form of autism one in ten thousand this limits her she suffers extreme seperation anxiety which rules out school we have decided to rent our house out move in with my parents thro the summer and spend the winter in india so my husband can stop working all the hours god sends and be involved in the care of our special little girl we did the whole hut thing last time round but gracie would need more space so looking at long term rental any advice would be so very gratefully recieved from visa to cost of living there now days just know she would love the pace of life and the people you would be suprised at the lack of compassion you come across

Welcome to IM Pippi. (I used to read that book to children in years gone by!) Check out IM's Visa and Passport Threads, think about where you would like to be longterm, remember India's winter will be the same in the hilly regions here as England's. You could look in some of the State Forums to give you some idea for this - and then search those threads for the area you would like and post a thread with your enquiry there.
