Shimla Trip

Hi All
I am planning to visit Shimla with my parents. It will be a 3 day trip. Dont know if travelling to Narkanda would be a good idea. I was thinking of visiting Narkanda on the 3rd day. Would visiting Narkanda be tiring ? Should I opt for Chail instead?

Unless they've fixed that cart trail called a road - Narkanda is a full day return trip outing from Shimla. There's a hill you can climb to get a nice view (if clear) of the Tibetan plateau and a Tibetan market in town ...... but other than that you'll just be spending 5-6 hours or the majority of the day in a taxi. I'd say enjoy/explore Shimla and it's immediate surrounding on any 3 day jaunt.

Thats a good advise i believe. I plan to cut back on the distance travelled then.Wont go to Narkanda.

Day 1 : Reach Shimla by Shivalik Deluxe at 10:30. Stay in a hotel in SHimla for 1 day.
Day 2/3 : Stay in Fagu,Hptdc hotel. Visit Kufri etc.
Day 4 : Leave for Shimla. Catch train for Kalka at 5:30 pm.
