Phew. Thank goodness more people didn't get to hear of it!

Seriously... Some people sign up with their real names, and decide it might not have been the best thing to do (like me, but I left it a bit late to change, I guess); some mispell their name; some use email IDs, or funny stuff that they think better of.

Name changes can be done, and will, on receipt of a reasonable request: you have to ask the boss, Nadreg. But he might well get fed up with it if it gets to be a queue.

People who have just joined should just re-register (though I think they may not be able to use the same email address). People joining under multiple IDs so that can talk to themselves will be banned; otherwise, if we notice that FradSmith joined, and then FredSmith a few minutes later, the reason is obvious and we just cancel the earlier ID.
