Hiya,
Been lurking for a couple of weeks, so thought I might as well introduce myself. In 1995 I jacked in my job, rented out my house and travelled around the middle east for nine months. Reluctantly returned back to England when I couldn't get the visa extended anymore. Lost the travel bug for the next few years but, thanks to the tv travel channels, it is starting to return. Spent a couple of weeks backpacking in Thailand in 2003 and will be travelling to North India in November 2004. I've booked a trip with Guerba for a couple of weeks & will have a spare week after it's finished. In 2005, will I finally take the plunge and start out on that round-the-world trip of a lifetime? Or will I remain as a 'part time traveller?' - work, save and splash out on an another amazing trip? Decisions decisions... So, I look forward to finding the answers to life, the universe & everything on this site over the next few weeks. And many thanks in advance to those people who take the trouble to share their knowledge. I'll appreciate it. I'll leave you with an image of me in Israel (I'm in the loud t-shirt), making an effort for one of the public holidays. Cheers, f |
