Newbie to Indiamike, Namaskarum

Hi there,


Was surfing through the forums last night and thought i might as well join up. What great information all of you have to post. I'll be going on my second trip to India this week, in June/July and i'm trying to figure out my trip. I spent one year living in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh through a study abroad program and instantly fell in love with india (ok maybe not Delhi in the summer though). I came in june and i left in june, so i haven't really quite experienced the monsoon. and the HOT HOT weather. we'll see how it goes! This time, i plan to go to khajuraho, spend some 3 or 4-start time in Kerala as my vacation from travelling, chill in Goa, see the Taj (i'm travelling with people who haven't seen it), visit Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune (the last two i missed when i lived there), volunteer for a week, and go to a wedding in Kolkata. Also i'd like to see the rath yatra in Puri. maybe. Anyhow, hello to all and i hope to add some insightful tips.
