New from NYC

Have been reading the forum for a little bit now and finally signed up today. Am leaving for India on Wednesday and am very excited for my trip. I will definitely log on and post some photos upon my arrival.
On a different note, I was sad to see that I missed a meetup in march. I was actually just to Tiffin Wallah a couple weeks ago for the first time and had a great time. The food was excellent. Hopefully you will have another NYC meetup soon.

Well I will only be gone a couple weeks. That's assuming I make it through Dubai security with no issues.

(Please note I am not going to read any more stories on security inspection over there now. hehehe)
I get back on the 18th so it's only about 2 weeks. Not one of these 3 month expeditions or anything....just enough to get a taste of india!

Well I am back and I have had some time to get back into the swing of things. Actually it's been about a month now. :-) I survived with not too many weird things happening. A man following me in bombay and getting taken to security in a store. (almost thought I was getting arrested) Aside from the constant stares of men and a few cab ripoffs I would say that I did pretty well for myself. I didn't get to see as much as I would have wanted and I was ill for a few days but nothing too bad. So how about a meet up!?!? I made it again to my favorite Tiffin Wallah on Saturday evening. (I think I've been there 3 times since I got back) Will post in the meetup section.
