Hello all. First post - travelling to India in 2 weeks time. Counting down the days - very exciting!! Will be arriving in Delhi (not looking forward to the heat) before travelling north to the Himalaya. I have found so much incredibly useful information on this site - thanks to all those contributing.

Kia Ora Rikisesh - and welcome to IM. Yes, its going to be bloody hot when you turn up (has be hitting the low 40s already in Delhi - about a month before its suppose to according to the papers). Still, the beers cold so relief is but a can/ glass away.

A week to go & and I'm just about jumping out of my skin in excitement. Hot, hot heat here we come... I've spent the last 4 years in Oz, so I should be able to cope (I hope).

I'm staying my first few nights in Paraganj (for better or worse), but would like to know whether I've got much chance of seeing the European Champions League final between Man Utd. & (C'mon you) CHELSEA!!!! - kick off is about 4 hrs after I arrive (maybe 1am Delhi time). Do I have much chance of seeing the game live???
