Is this plan ok?

Hi everybody,
I have planed to visit Uttarakhand. This is my first visit of this reason. I am reaching Lal Kuan / Kathgodam on around 8:30 morning. I have planed my journey with help of INDIAMIKER's as follw :

Sept 24 - leave early morning for nainital and visit 4 nearby lakes(khurpa taal, naukuchhia taal, bhim taal and saat taal), it would take approx half a day after doing these leave for Binsar approx 3 hours and reach there by evening and see the fantastic view of sunset .

Sept 25- Enjoy nature & Sunrise in Binsar forest, go to zero point, dhaulachhina, kasar devi etc.

Sept 26 - leave for chaukori via bageshwar(3 hours) and reach there by about 11 a.m and enjoy the sights of chaukori.

Sept 27 - stay in chaukori till noon and then leave for munsiyari (4 hrs. journey)

Sept 28 - enjoy munsiyari

Sept 29 - leave from munsiyari early in the morning and reach Pant Nagar/ Lal Kuan by evening for onward journey to Patna.

I want suggestion on following few points :

1. As I am going with family and have no prior booking, can I get accommodation in KMVN or any other economical boardings.

2. I want to visit Nainital at last day i.e. on 29 sept'09 bcoz Pantnagar is very near and I can easily cath my Train ( 22:55) from Lal Kuan.

3. Any guide who can help me plan my travel better.

Any suitable changes can be done in this plan. It's URGENT as no more time is left, Please help me immediately.

the first day may be a little rushed. I expect that you will be at Nainital till around lunchtime (if earlier, why go there?) Or, leave Nainital for the return trip.


I would book Binsar, at least. Also Chaukori. Not many other options there.

I assume you are hiring a car from Kathgodam on the way up till the train on return. Else Binsar is a problem, other transport will drop you on the main road.

Thanks Caption, thanks a lot for your quick & valuable suggestion. but will you help me to fix my plan in which I can include Nanital for last day i.e. on 29th sept'09 full day? I am just crazy about Binsar, Chgaukori, Gwaldam, Kausani & Munsiyari. I don't want to miss any one but I don't understand how can I manage my plan? Pls, pls, pls some one come ahead for helping me
