Indore To Jabalpur Road Condition

Hi Friends,

I have plan to travel Indore to Jabalpur by car. Can anyone help me out the best route to reach Jabalpur?

Routes Identified by me are here -
1. Indore - Bhopal - Hoshangabad - Piparia - Narsimhapur - Jabalpur
2. Indore - Bhopal - Obaidullahganj- Bareily - Jabalpur
3. Indore - Astha - Harda - Hoshangabad - Piparia - Jabalpur
4. Indore - Nemawar - Harda - Hoshangabad - Piparia- Jabalpur
5. Indore - Bhopal - Hoshangabad - Piparia - Bareily - Jabalpur

I am worried about the current road condition.

2. Indore - Bhopal - Obaidullahganj- Bareily - Jabalpur

Seems the the best route, because all along the trip is on national highways (12, 86). The Indore-Bhopal highway is very good.

Another alternative is to go to Khandhwa from Indore and from there take a train to Jabalpur. There are many trains and journey time is 7 hours.

I had travel from indore to Jabalpur via chhindwara on this Deewali..

I have taken below route to reach chhindwara -
Indore - Bhopal - Obaidullahganj - Salkanpur - Hoshangabad - Chhidnwara
This route is very good -- road condition is very very good.

Do not go from Obaidullahganj to Hoshangabad by car atleast - road condition is horrible.

Chhindwara to Seoni is very good but after that road condition are very bad again in patches .. but nochoice.. u have to travel.

On return -- I drove from Jabalpur to Piparia -- road construction is going on.. Jabalpur to Kareli is not good bur drivable, after that, road is very good till hoshangabad. I would suggest to travel again towards salkanpur as Obaidullahganj - Budhani road is not drivable.

Now the Road condition in between Obedullahganj and Hoshangabad are fair enough.. you can travel on this route. Just to confirm once about traffic condition near by budhni.
