In Chennai from Oct 2008 for 3 months
Hey there,
I got the hint to register in this forum by the german community of indien-aktuell.de - So here I am - in the obviously most famous indian travel forum ;-). Yeah, let me introduce myself. My name is Simon, aged 22, from Germany and I am heading to Chennai for a 3month internship in our subsidiary company. My company is located in Adyar, hope this location is quite good. I am planning to work till xmas. The rest of time will be used for traveling. Well, I hope to meet a couple of nice people in this community to end up in having a great time together in Chennai. One of my intention also is to find an accomodation, preferably shared with some others. So just let me know, if you're in search of a "flat"mate ;-). Anyway, I've got still some time left. But I'll definately check out this forum regularly from now on :-) Bye Simon |

Hi Simon and firstly welcome to Indiamike.
We have a lot of members from Chennai here who i am sure are going to start coming forth soon with all their suggestions. In the interim if you wanna do some reading up then scroll to the bottom of this page and you will see related threads which might prove to be immensely useful as well..
