How's it Going?

Hello out there,

Thought it would be rude of me not to introduce myself. My name's Davin and I'm a Melbournian, soon to be a temporary tourist in India. Myself and my girlfriend Holly are leaving for Trivandrum (won't even attempt correct spelling) in Feb for a 3 month holiday. (I don't know if you'd call a trip to India a holiday) I've been calling it an adventure holiday as opposed to a relaxing one.

Anyway, this will be our second trip to the wonderful country that is India. I can't wait to explore further and experience all that craziness India has to offer. I stumbled across this website when I was supposed to be working - albeit during the quiet Christmas period when everyone else was on holiday. This combined with a severe lack of motivation towards work (due to the fact that I'll be leaving my job permanently in five weeks) has meant that I've been keeping a keen eye on the IMer's website.

What can I say, cool site, great info and some really cool photo's, and it has made me even more pumped for my upcoming (adventure) holiday. I look forward to contributing, and sharing in some of anomalies that India is.

welcome dav! good choice, trivandrum. i loved that city and surrounds.varkala is good and if you go to munnar, take an extra 50k trip to marayoor tourist home, at marayoor. great little town to wander around. beautiful area with a national park nearby.

kalbarri this post is 4 years old(posted in January 2005)....! ... so probably by now Dav must have done his trip.

Just got over 2 bouts of homesickness. I feel better now.
