Hola

Greetings - I am an adventurous older woman living in Mexico for over 20 years. Just returned from a month in S. America and want to travel in India next. I prefer travelling on my own with a flexible itinerary. I travel light, always try to be road smart and would appreciate opinions and advice on a trip to Rajasthan and Goa. Can go any time of the year. Thanks in advance - Penelope

Hola, namakar, and aloha.

India is a great place to travel & you found a good source here at IM.
I have never been to rajastan and goa, but I think that weather info, and other stuff should be easy to find doing a search of the site.

Where are you in Mexico? I lived in San Miguel (with all the other ex-pats) for a while about 12 years ago.

Good luck and happy travels

San Miguel

I do live in SMA but have a place in Nayarit for winters, will be going there around the 15th. If you lived here 12 years ago, we might know each other!

Welcome to the site

I think you'll find most of what you seek already here. Do search and browse first --- and then feel free to ask!

Bordercross - your travels will put you in good stead. Due largely to its colonial history, India is accessible to us on many levels - system of law, English spoken pretty much everywhere.

With a bit of intelligence and forebearance, you will have a wonderful, affordable time.
