Hi to all - love the site

I'm from the US, living in Spain, PIO (Goa) and tend to go to India every couple of years to visit extended family. This "winter" is a special one - everyone from my immediate family is going, including the new generation - sister's little kids - and we will be attending 3 family weddings in 6 weeks!, Catholic weddings. The cousins are organized and have made an effort to accommodate our travel plans. I'll be taking 3 of those weeks to travel south with a friend, never been to Tamil Nadu, and am thoroughly enjoying myself right now reading forum threads, posting several as well, and hanging out in bookstores reading all the guidebooks I can find. I love going to India, mostly because I love the family there, the house, the cooking, and our part of Goa is gorgeous, but I do find the traveling a bit overwhelming. The last big trip outside Goa was in '95 though, so I'm ready to tackle another one now.
I appreciate all the members who respond to posts, and since I have a bit of experience there will make an effort to contribute more than just my own inquiries (!) as soon as I get my itinerary a bit more in shape.
